Meet the Owners, Cori and Matt
We’re both artists in a multitude of mediums including jewelry, film, painting, metal work, and sculpture. We love travel and to incorporate treasures from around the world into our space. For the past few years we’ve been pouring our time, energy, and love into this historic estate in Lockhart.
We became intrigued with Lockhart through the lively First Fridays and visits to Commerce Gallery - part of what makes this town such a special place to visit (or call home). When we first walked through the grand front door of what is now The Orange Magnolia, we were instantly captivated by the archways, antique tiles, and unique character of the property. While we’ve worked together on art projects in the past, this has been our biggest collaboration yet.
We can’t wait to welcome you in.
History of the Home
Built in 1932, The Orange Magnolia - long known locally as the Adams Estate - has been a place of gathering and celebration for generations of Lockhart families. Originally constructed for local businessman and civic leader Fred J. Adams, the Tudor Revival home became a social hub, hosting community events, celebrations, and gatherings during a formative period in the town’s history.
In later decades, the home became widely known as the Glosserman House, where Sam and Elsia Glosserman continued the tradition of hospitality, welcoming friends, neighbors, and visitors through its doors for lively dinners and annual gatherings.
Nearly a century later, the home remains what it was always meant to be - a place where people come together, share stories, and create new memories in the heart of Lockhart.
